What kind of dog is right for you?

I found this fun little quiz online that tells you what kind of dog breed or hybrid breed is right for your household. It asks obvious questions like your size and coat preference, and also some less obvious questions, like how protective you want your dog to be.

Because there are so many great mixed breed dogs waiting to be adopted in shelters, I would always want a shelter dog instead of a purebred or hybrid dog. (A hybrid dog is a deliberate blend of breeds into a new breed, rather than the willy-nilly blend you get in a mixed breed dog.)  However, knowing what characteristics each breed has can help you decide on a mixed breed dog too. If your mix is mostly Cocker Spaniel, what will that mean? This website has some answers.
